Compensation
The purpose of the Maintenance Technician's role is to perform routine and non-routine maintenance on production and facility equipment to support production of roofing materials. This position is also responsible for meeting facility targets for safety, productivity, and machine uptime. This role will conduct effective problem solving and troubleshoot processes to develop corrective actions.
Maintenance Technician - $2,000 sign-on bonus
Hours: 6:00am-2:30pm
Your Day-to-Day:
- Reporting directly to the maintenance supervisor but may receive direction from Level "A" mechanics.
- Servicing, maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing all plant process, production and facility equipment.
- Assuring equipment integrity 24/7/365.
What You Bring to the Team:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Five+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
- Intermediate training, knowledge and ability in a mechanical or electrical craft.
- Demonstrate proficient oxy acetylene cutting and arc welding ability.
- Demonstrate proficient math skills as related to industrial maintainer skills.
- Demonstrate proficient PC skills as required for time tracking, work order confirmation and consumable usage check out.
Preferred Qualifications:
- High School diploma.
- Five+ years of industrial maintenance experience and completion of a 60+ hour technical training apprentice, military, trade school or college accredited program.
- Documented proof of progression from entry level to intermediate level in same craft.
- Multi craft cross training and experience.
- Advanced troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
